US intelligence chief: We have authority to kill American terrorists
| Quote: | In the use of force in direct action by the intelligence community [against terrorists] [...] we follow a set of defined policy and legal procedures that are very carefully observed. [
]
[If] we think that direct action will involve killing an American [terrorist], we get specific permission to do that [
]
[W]hether that American is involved in a [terrorist] group that is trying to attack us, whether that American is a threat to other Americans -- those are the factors involved [in decision-making]. |
[US National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair, Annual Threat Assessment hearing of the US House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, 4 February 2010]

Do they define what a "terrorist" is. By a simple definition one would assume "one who causes terror" but i am sure that will also include those adding and abetting terrorism or sympathetic to terrorism.
This is where 911 truthers and the like will always need to advocate they are against terrorism
Do the United Nations have a definition of terrorism and terrorist- not that its entirely relevant as the likes of Bush and Bliar tend to wiggle around such regulations.
it wasnt clear in 2001 http://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/2001/GA9925.doc.htm _________________ JO911B.
