As revealed in this week's blindin' edition of "Gary Bell - View From Space, 28th July, 2006" (Radio Show). Chavez has been running around all over the place calling for a Novus Ordo Seclorum, in particular - a socialist NWO.

The show does produce suggestions as to the nature of his game however I shall presently avoid raising these possibilities so as to avoid putting thoughts in your collective minds.

Two instances of Chavez calling for a NWO are linked to below. If you want to listen to 'View From Space' (and who wouldn't?) you will hear it covered within the first ten minutes or therabouts, it is about the first item on the Show. There are also archives of it out there in Internet land.

I found a reference which, although I am yet to establish its accuracy, does detail where Chavez, as head of OPEC actively sought to push up the price of oil to what he called a 'fair' price by cutting the production. He speaks out against 'those' who would rather a $50 dollar barrel, though 5yrs later this is exactly what he suggests is a fair price.

Apparently with his 1.3 Trillion barrels of oil in reserve, his oil is a little more expensive to extract/process although plentiful. It seems a stable $50/barrel might give him that competitive edge.

Well, ... what to make of it all?
Who is Mr Chavez - is he a force for good or evil?
How come no one else has picked up on this?
Where do we go from here?
Any other questions, points, issues not covered.

i need to do more research on this.
my own believes are that socialism would be the best transition to sucessful communism, which ultimately will be the only system in which the human race can survive. but i by no means share the opinions of far left groups like the socialist workers party. and i don't think true communism has ever existed

so far from what i've seen and read, chavez seems like a good guy. but this is interesting and i will look into it
you've got to take into account though, that any nation trying to run a alternative system to capitalism, is still competing with global capitalism. so success isn't easy

it seems to me that capitalism is a significant problem, as public perception has now been monopolised. an alternative system will have to be realised at some point. and i reckon the the transition to that point may well occur in our lifetime.

As recent history demonstrates all too well there is a desperate need for a new world order.

The problem lies in the form that new world order will take.

The UN on the face of it was an attempt to bring some form of order to international affairs but has never really been effective and is now seen to be completely innefective.

In these desperate times this below would be a start -

Dear Kofi, Itís Time remove the U.S. and Israel from the United Nations

To the Office of the
Secretary General
of the United Nations,
Kofi Annan
7-30-06

Is Chavez, falling for the classic problem-reaction-soloution? Or does he just not realise what the function of communism is? Who it benefits.

Some who talk of the need for a new wold order also proclaim how it will need to be created through the 'right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order'.

I think more accurately the nations/people, the progressive left, will demand a socialist/communatarian world government New World Order, with phoney environmentalism as the new world religion, thereby fulfilling all the globalists goals for them.

Sophisticated buggers aren't they?

One of the elements for the NWO is a world army. I cant help but think that the total lack of power that the UN have with regards to the problems in the middle east at the moment is just another step closer for the world army. Hence another step closer for the PTB.

Hello from California. I have studied politics, economics, and how they relate to the New World Order for some eleven years now, and I have been critical of the government's account of 9/11 since the day it occured.

I feel obliged to speak out in defense of capitalism, because it has been much maligned, and misunderstood. The definition of capitalism, for the purposes of my comment, is an economic system in which the means of production are privately owned, and its participants act in a "free market". I submit that capitalism by this specific definition has existed but for only short periods of time throughout history. In this sense it is mostly an ideal, much like communism is.

The proponents of the New World Order are interested neither in the ideals of capitalism, nor communism, but rather a dialectical synthesis of the worst properties of both systems. They want a type of systemized coercion whereby capital is highly concentrated under their control, as well as a totalitarian world government operating seemingly under communist ideals.

So if not capitalism, what is primarily responsible for the ills of the contemporary world? I believe the problem is usury, defined more broadly than just exhorbitant moneylending, to include fiat money regimes of all kinds. Sir Josiah Stamp, former president of the Bank of England had this to say:

"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create deposits, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take it away from them, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of Bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create deposits."

I would rate this admission by Stamp as the understatement of the millenium. Some might say that banking is a property of capitalism, but it is not. In fact, it supercedes all politico-economic systems. Fiat money trumps all. If you allow a select few to legalize and institutionalize wide scale counterfeiting for their own private benefit, you receive absolute and total despotism in return, and this is what we in the world are facing. They have used their power of unlimited money to create false paradigms which polarize us at virtually every level. They finance all sides of war.

The true paradigm we exist in is freedom vs. slavery. The solution to slavery and despotism isn't more of the same, with communist/socialist coercive governments, or despotic rule by usury-capitalist corporations. The solution is sound money and true freedom, economic, and otherwise. Of course, this will require a paradigm-shift in awareness, and it will require organized coercive power to bring the NWO elite to justice, and dissolve their control structures.

As long as corruption exists in the human heart, a world government should be unthinkable, under any pretext. Be skeptical of coercive power, whether it is "capitalist" corporations, or "communist" governments.

Freedom is the end, and sound money is the means.

welcome

great first post

despite his considerable street cred and the fact that he is opposed by 'fascists' in Venezuela and despite whispers that he supports the 9/11 truth movement, I'm unconvinced by Chavez

The US completely ignored the UN when it invaded Iraq anyway so I can't see it making much difference if it left.

scubadiver, it was not a question of the US leaving but one of it being ejected, a different matter. This would mean the UN was acting in the manner it was supposedly set up to do, treating rogue states as rogue states.

All pie in the sky anyway as that excellent first post from Alek explains, the real power and the root of the problem lies in the global financial structure.

September 11 perhaps gives us the unprecedented opportunity to expose this and the ramifications of it being shown to be an inside job cannot be overestimated. Once it starts to unravel the shadow government would be out in the open and nothing would be taken at face value. The first false paradigm to be addressed is the is the situation in the Middle East, this before the globalists lead us yet again into a major conflict which would put the September 11 issue on the back foot.

Some are trying as this New York Times ad shows -

But if many of the world's woes have been deliberately orchestrated to create the conditions for acceptance of a new world order, the premise is bogus.

leiff, no the premise is not bogus, your misunderstanding of my meaning may make it seem so.

Given that international relations are a fact of life then that some form of how these relations are to be conducted is also a fact.

A new world order is what we here are ultimately seeking. September 11 was only another example of how those that run global affairs conduct them. September 11 was nothing new, only a more spectacular version of an oft used tactic by these same people.

The global financial set up and the shadow government behind the scenes doing the bidding of the financiers are what we are really trying to expose here and if and when we expose the lie of September 11 a new world order will be necessary.
