Interesting. I don't pretend to be an expert on bible translation and I'm sure the NIV has its faults, as does every version, including the KJV, which I'm sure could be equally subject to this sort of analysis. But let's just take one example: The NIV again openly LIES in 2 Samuel 21:19, ". . ....

This implies he knows it was a fake Bin Laden. He simply admits to doing the voice overs. Misleading.

Complicity cannot be restricted to any one nation or organisation, this is the clever thing, and if you say i.e. 'USA did it', it cannot be shown to be the case. My reaction was simply - it's a theory, but the towers could still not have fallen so rapidly without the steel girders being cut, and no explanation is offered for this beyond a big explosion, which could not possibly have been widespread enough or powerful enough to do this. Really does not stand ...

They always pull threads after 3 days now.
I think the number of OT supporters in the first few hours was certainly many more than in the last day or so. Seemed to me like he had a load of trolls lined up!

There's quite a barney going on over at the Guardian over the Brooker article, now up to well over 1500 posts, something of a record. And actually a bit of a debate rather than OT aficionados insulting "troofers" which typified the first day of it.
