Religion should have no role in the running or management of a school, or it's identity, if that school receives ANY public funding.

Faith, or lack thereof, is entirely a personal matter and should be completely separate from the state.

However, as previously mentioned, the day is critical. The government were scared of losing the 42 day vote, so this was the substitute headline to bury bad news if they had lost that vote.

It is to influence and manipulate public opinion so it aligns with the policies of the rulers of the day.

Most of them never let the facts get in the way of a good story.
