London 9/11 Conference - 07/07/07
Proposal:
Now, I know that I am still on a high after the amazing experience of the Chicago 9/11 conference but I would like to propose that we do a bit of longer range planning. I am not in any way suggesting that we should not encourage spontaneity but we perhaps need to reflect on the fact that the greater the opportunity for considered planning, the greater the likelihood that the event will live up to, or perhaps even exceed, expectations.
July 7th of next year falls on a Saturday; so I would like to propose that we consider the possibility of hosting an International 9/11 Truth event in London, over the weekend of July 6th / 7th / 8th, 2007, embracing the date of 07/07/07 and incorporating a presentation on the findings of a July Seventh Peoples Inquiry, which will (hopefully) have been taking place prior to this proposed event.
12 months of planning would ensure that we have every opportunity to make this a very powerful and memorable event.
Obviously a lot can happen in twelve months …and that is what I’m banking on! A little over a year ago, the Jimmy Walters tour served as the catalyst that brought the UK 9/11 activists into contact with each other. Subsequent meetings in London & Blackpool, coupled with the forum on www.nineeleven.co.uk have served to establish the basic framework of the UK 9/11 Truth Campaign.
Now I appreciate that there are a number of people who would like to see things moving along a bit quicker but it is important to acknowledge that we have come a long way in the past 12 months … and with the appropriate forethought, planning & ACTION, we have the opportunity to grow the movement exponentially in the next 12 months.
A significant 9/11 Truth event, which might just co-incide with Tony Blair’s departure from office, addressing the events of 9/11 and the post 9/11 lies and obfuscation of the Blair administration, might just get some attention!
Please understand that this proposed major event next July is not intended to replace or usurp anything that anyone is planning on a local basis. Indeed, it is intended to provide a point of focus, so that local and/or regional activities may ultimately feed into it and eventually benefit from the resultant publicity.
In the first instance, I would like to establish the general level of support for such a proposal.
Let me know what you think.
If you think that this proposal is worthy of further development, I would also like to know whether you would be prepared to take an active role in the planning process.

Cracking idea Ian. If we are going to make it an international event we will need to give our friends in the US enough time to plan their trip. Did you speak with the 911truth.org guys as it would be best to affiliate the meeting with all sites. It will a greta opportuntity for us over here to get to hear the likes of Stepehn Jones and David Ray Griffin. With over a year to plan we should be able to exceed the numbers in attandence at Chicago. The size of venue will need to be carefully planned, based on existing and forecasted membership as well as how many international visitors we can attract. We will need an anouncement soon to gauge interest as prepartions would need to start fairly soon.
I'll certainly take an active part in the planning process.

Excellent, I would love to come (if I could convince my parents or someone to get me down there, meh, I know I'd work it out). Want me to organise a youth brigade to get down there?

UK Youth for 9/11 Truth
...definitely has a certain ring to it!

But we're not all the youth! I am, but I'm sure we're not all younguns. I'll get talking about it on my forum www.911truthyoungsters.tk sometime, I know now of about...6 youngsters including myself, in the area where I live convinced about 9/11 truth and ready to campaign, and no doubt there will be more after the screening next week, that I'm holding at school. I don't know where we'd stay or anything. Anyone willing to take us in, lol? Whatever happens, I'm sure I'll find a way to set up the youth brigade.Wokeman wrote:Ian,
Yes. Let's adopt that as a slogan, to appear on all our publicity material.
