forget who?

Never mind the media, the bookies have not forgotten him. William Hill has slashed odds - now 12:1 against winning candidacy and 20:1 against becoming president. Betfair 4:1 against Iowa caucus today.

I will be checking tomorrow after Iowa results when I reckon the odds will shorten again.

Place your bets while these odds stand!

cheers Al..

I just hope Ron Paul doesn't suddenly have a fatal medical condition like our own John Smith and Robin Cook. He looks pretty good for his age at the moment but if his success continues he would have to be removed by our friends in the NWO. After all he is buggering up their script. Hope I'm wrong and off the mark.

The most recommended comment on BBC HYS:
I'd like to know why the BBC (as well as most of the US media) see fit to exclude Ron Paul from the list of candidates. Dr. Paul has raised more money than any of the other candidates recently, and his popularity on the Internet is practically viral - and yet the "unbiased media" refuse to talk to him, about him, or allow him to participate. Why is the media so scared? And what gives the media the right to decide who the people should be allowed to vote for?

A poll in New Hampshire the day after the Iowa caucuses had 65% of declared Republicans saying they'd rather see anyone else besides him become President. Fred Thompson came in second on that list. Polls are no more accurate a read than normal, but still...

It would be interesting how that question was phrased or if it is a "conclusion" drawn from answers to other questions. Does 65% disapproval mean 35% approval? Far better than the 10% he got! I wonder how many of them would rather see Giuliani as president - he's the one who gets all the publicity but only got 4% in fact!

Ron Paul needs a big hug, what can we do to put a smile on his oh so tired face at the moment?

Also we create our reality so lets make sure we all believe he can win, I sure do!

Breaking news actually...

After major pressure on "officials" at polling stations more Ron Paul votes have now been confirmed after he was originally reported to have got zero in some areas...

Caught red handed.

Now, this might get big. But I'm sure most places will ignore this

He counts only as a Ralph Nader type who, if runs, would further weaken McCain's election. I would welcome it if he ran. 8)

Fox commentator: Ron Paul revolt could be 'disaster' for Republicans

David Edwards and Muriel Kane
Raw Story
Tuesday, May 13, 2008

Rep. Ron Paul is still in the GOP race and even drew 16% of the vote in the recent Pennsylvania Republican primary. Now his supporters are planning to stage a "revolt" at the Republican National Convention in September, possibly with the aim of securing Paul a prime time speaking slot.

Conservative radio talk show host Mike Gallagher told the hosts of Fox and Friends on Tuesday, "There is no question that this could be a major headache for John McCain."

"John McCain would be well-served to kind of reach out and give him an olive branch at the convention," Gallagher continued. "Let him speak, give him a role, because if these people are disrespected -- you know, this, combined with Bob Barr's announcement that Barr now is running as a Libertarian, is going to just take votes away from John McCain and could be a disaster for the Republican Party."

Bob Barr recently cited Paul's success as having helped inspire his own candidacy, pointing to "what Ron Paul has tapped into in terms of reaching an awful lot of young people in particular and illustrating very clearly that in this day and age it is possible to reach a lot of young people through the Internet."

Democratic political consultant and commentator Bob Beckel then joined into the Fox discussion, saying of Paul, "I think he ought to get a prime time speech at the convention. This is the only guy that has a bobble doll made for him that his head doesn't move."

"They're nuts," Beckel said of Paul's supporters, hastening to add, "I don't mean nuts in a bad way. They're nuts about their guy."

"I think they ought to do it, Mike," Beckel concluded, laughing. "I think it would be great for you guys to have Ron Paul at your convention."

"It'll show some diversity at the convention," Gallagher acknowledged.

"That's the kind of diversity you need, brother," Beckel affirmed.

This video is from Fox's Fox & Friends, broadcast May 13, 2008.
