What is the purpose of most charities?

Tax avoidance, fronts for other agendas, keeping the poor poor?

Shelter are a particularly obnoxious shower, refusing to acknowledge squatting as a solution to homeless when it is THE solution to homelessness makes my blood boil!
"We might lose our charitable status" they bleat, forgetting that people need roofs over their heads. Particularly in a Babylon system that is yuppifying like mad and leaving countless vast buildings suitable for squatting empty.

Surely good jobs and affordable homes is the solution not squatting.
