He mentioned the British and the Jewish lobbies. The third was the then current administration, which he claimed was doing the opposite to what it was elected for, which was to stay out of the war. Interestingly that is not appeasement, as it only becomes appeasement when the British try to stay out!!

Was it the smiley face that gave it away? Or can you explain the difference between a Nation (Britain) being reluctant to sacrifice its young men just twenty years after millions died and were maimed in a war, and that of other nations who were also reluctant to go to war. I have only ever heard the term appeasement, and it is clearly meant as derision, being applied to the UK. I have never understood why.
