What an odd thread.

One must ponder why this subject was being researched in the first place?
I completely challenge the official version of events - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC -I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC

What an odd comment.
One must ponder why anyone would think abuse of women in the sex industry off limits?

Research isn't off limits, you are free to investigate any aspects of the pornography industry that interest you Tony.

It is hardly a 'conspiracy' or shrouded in any doubt as what goes on in such circles has been well documented for decades with sex slaves, snuff movies and human trafficking. Two rooms along the corridor from where I work is a unit that deals with such matters, one officer has been involved since 1991.

It wasn't a personal attack, I simply find the subject matter a bit incongruous, jarring and a dramatic departure from where we all started, 'tis all.

I recommend watching Lilja 4-ever, directed by Lukas Moodysson.

sex slaves, snuff movies and human trafficking.
Tele - could I just ask - I have heard it said that actual snuff films are a bit of a myth. This is in the sense of films depicting actual killings performed specifically for the film and distributed on an underground retail basis to fans of the genre as opposed to killers who happen to film their murders or Mondo films (which aren't illegal anyway)
I checked wikipedia (hardly definitive I know) and this seemed to confirm the stated 'urban legend' status.

However, if you state snuff films are investigated - or "documented" - this appears to suggest they exist, so I seek clarification on this matter.
Macabre and off-topicI know, but I'm just interested to know if there is any truth to this legend.

http://www.shelleylubben.com/ Shelley's website that mirrors other prior pornstars experiences and campaigns from an undoubtedly abuse filled industry.

Great blog Ian.

Well so long as it isn't children based you maybe right.

Here's a few potential facts on the porn industry and an earlier piece which claims to debunk some of the sad issues they raise.

http://internet-filter-review.toptenrev ... stics.html 2005-2006 Pornography industry statistics. Some are alarming.

http://www.forbes.com/2001/05/25/0524porn.html 2001 article dispelling the big revenue claims.

Dogsmilks question regarding snuff films is interesting. Did the Franklin coverup and related stories really reveal such genuine material? An interview on Alex Jones seemed to point to Bohemian Grove having hosted a schizophrenic young man, who chronicled his traumatic snuff involved experiences at the hands of Larry King politician. Along with the interviewee's shock, at having investigated the outrageous allegations against friends, only to find them to be real. It suggested lawsuits had been won over such issues, which would suggest that such activities are not legend, simply quietly handled.

Tabak's hard core pornography addiction was a key element in Jo Yeates murder

Is this the escort used by Vincent Tabak after he trawled the internet to satisfy his sexual desires?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -porn.html
Judge said it would be unnecessary for the jury to hear how he had cheated on girlfriend Tanja Morson with a prostitute he met on an escort website
In the weeks after the murder, Tabak Googled 'Jo Yeates' before accessing home-made sex videos
He had looked at porn on the morning of the murder
Police believe he was aroused by the killing
Pictures found on his laptop of blonde woman closely resembling Miss Yeates

'Many aspiring idols asked to perform sex acts on camera: survey':
'National Feb. 09, 2017 - 06:44AM JST'
http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/0 ... egal/26-9- of-aspiring-models-idols-have-been-asked-to-perform-sex-acts-for-the-c amera-survey/

'....The results follow a recent series of revelations of young women who came forward to confess they were coerced to have sex with male actors to make adult videos against their will. Japan has drawn international criticism for its tolerance of pornography.

The number of cases of counseling with Human Rights Now, a human rights advocacy group, over such women’s appearance in pornographic videos increased to 81 in 2015 from 32 the previous year, according to the group.

Asked why they took part in sex acts on camera, 35.3% said in the Cabinet Office survey they wanted money, 29.4% replied they were told it was stated in their contracts, and 23.5% said they were told that refusing the requests would bother other people, including their office managers.

Many such respondents said they could not consult with anybody as they thought it was “shameful” or they do not want their family or friends to know about such problems.....'
