Poor guy and mum.
Cops too bloody gun happy with the tasers. If thats what killed him or was it the copper on his neck. Sadists wanted-join the police.

Sad but glad that guy videoed this. Trade mark of the Police, kill someone then lie.

Wonder how these cops cope with killing an innocent man. I suppose they are human beings

Probably get a smack on the wrist and sent for more training

Robert Dziekanski's RCMP murderers caught on YouTube.
No wonder they don't want to participate in the enquiry.
They don't want to go down do they.
Funnily enough I didn't see that on tonight's TV news.
RCMP murderers - these weapons must be outlawed immediately. They are long range cattle prod killers. Fit only for brain dead slaughterhouse workers but no doubt being stockpiled right now to be handed out to UK Traffic Wardens.

But the story's from 13th October last year

Years ago when TV sets were not as disposable as they are now, I repaired them. One day I got a shock from the EHT which was about 25,000 volts and this was only one spark that jumped across my screwdriver but it was very painful and it took me days (if not weeks) to get over it.

Now we have Tasers that produce 50,000 volts and this is through spikes which penetrate the skin to where the nerves are. And not only that, it's not just one pulse but is pulsed for several seconds at a time. The pain must be excruciating and depending on where the spikes enter the body, Tasers if not through very extreme pain can easily stop (or start) the heart directly.

Tasers are very painful and if someone gave me the choice of being hit by a randomly aimed bullet or being Tasered I would choose the bullet!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taser_controversy

Taser International has admitted in a training bulletin that repeated blasts of a taser can "impair breathing and respiration". Also, on Taser's website[1] it is stated that, for a subject in a state known as "excited delirium" (a controversial term in itself), repeated or prolonged stuns with the Taser can contribute to "significant and potentially fatal health risks".[2] In such a state, physical restraint by the police coupled with the exertion by the subject are considered likely to result in death or more injuries. Critics alledge that Electroshock devices can burn skin with its electric arc and can damage delicate electrical equipment such as pacemakers.[citation needed]

It is assumed that tasers as well as all other high voltage stun devices can cause cardiac arrhythmia in susceptible subjects, possibly leading to heart attack or death in minutes by ventricular fibrillation (which leads to cardiac arrest and if not treated immediately to sudden death).[citation needed] People susceptible to this outcome are sometimes healthy and unaware of their susceptibility.

The key issue here is the use of the word 'murder'.

Proof of intent is absolutely crucial when an accusation of murder is considered. Where is that proof?

Are we saying that he was tasered with the sole intention of taking this man's life?

Manslaughter possibly, murder? Absolutely not.

Good point but surely it would be very difficult to pin intent to murder on anyone?

This tazer is a proven killer.
Did they check to see if he had a pacemaker?

Not all gunshots kill people.
These tazers have been introduced to fry people's nervous system which can kill.
They should be outlawed.

Amazing shocking footage which should be shown on primetime news
They's soon be banned then.

How many cops are shown this film in training?
None

from the video it seems that the cops basically decide to taser the guy as they're arriving on the scene - and it's also clear that after they confront him he doesn't do anything to justify tasering him or subduing him in the way they did.

absolutely appalling....
