We hear today of a small group of UK Anti-Terrorism police psycopaths once again spreading racist hate terror by arresting Humanitarian Aid Convoy volunteers who oppose Zionist ideology. Let's hope those in the know will note the identities of the vermin behind this decision and bide their time.
Isn't it about time we purged these growing pockets of evil from the British police?

Palestine Solidarity Convoy Harassed by UK Police
NEW CIVILIZATION

A Viva Palestina Solidarity Convoy on its way to Gaza has been stopped by police in Preston, Lancashire. Nine people were arrested although six of those have now been reported to be released. Several houses in Burnley, Lancashire have been searched.

It is significant that British TV has reported this police action by either down-playing or omitting mention of the fact that a humanitarian, solidarity convoy had been stopped. Instead the incident has been reported as just another police action against terrorists.

On the face of it this latest incident looks to be nothing more than yet another case of police harassment against British Muslims. In 2008 UK police used Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000 to stop and search 360,000 people. Not one of these was found to possess terrorist material or to be linked to terrorism. Yet the harassment continues along with the full complicity of a media which downplays political and humanitarian solidarity and re-presents it to look like anti-terrorist action.

This latest totalitarian outrage by the UK police follows hard on the heels of the BBC’s refusal to broadcast a humanitarian appeal on behalf of the people of Gaza.

The message is no to any original thought, no to any individual aid mission that has not been sanctioned by the government.

I guess their excuse for this fascism will be that Hamas is a "terrorist organisation", and there are no assurances this aid will not "fall into the hands of Hamas".

Man, we've fallen into the hands of a terrorist organisation already. These policy makers and enforcers are domestic and international terrorists, attempting to terrorize people trying to help those in need just because they've done this all on their own without waiting for Big Brother to tell them what to do.

If they intend to stamp out terrorism it starts with them. Go on, set a good example. Investigate yourselves and you will find the masterminds of 7/7, and the instigators of two illegal wars overseas. Mass murderers are too hot to arrest aye? Easier picking on aid workers?

Shame on you for acting like pigs.

Yes. I noticed the Palestinian defence notices on the sides of the vans pictured by the BBC, whilst watching the news. The report gave nothing away about an aid shipment. Just some more "terrorist" arrests

* What Interpol info the police were acting on (is Israel part of Interpol?)

* Have the remaining 3 been released

* How can 6 be arrested in a major (motorway closed, helicopter, multiple police vehicles, etc) 'terror' operation and then released without charge in hours?[/url]

It is. The vehicles were going to London to join the convoy going to Palestine. The fact the George Galloway did not mention them and the Viva Palestine website says nothing, makes me very suspicious. Perhaps he was distancing himself from them.

For example, what if the Israeli's planted a few patsies (cf 7/7) and then tipped off Interpol? It would discredit Galloway, and give them a good reason to stop the convoy entering Gaza. That seems to me just one option. Another might be this is just the British establishment interfering with a humanitarian mission, which doesn't suit the NWO agenda. Or perhaps, this is just old bill going over the top to keep up the Islamaphobia.

Interesting that Manchester Police were involved? Another thread on this site says they have the highest number of Common Purpose graduates.

Whatever the final result, the more I write, the more it stinks!

An initial outraged message was sent out by Viva Palestina who organize the convoy. It said updates on the arrests could be received from its website http://www.vivapalestina.org/home.htm.

But they have suddenly gone very quiet about it. They don't mention anything on their site, not have they issued a press release.

Baroness Neville-Jones: Israel has lessons for UK on security

Shadow security minister Baroness Pauline Neville-Jones has said that Israel "had shown the world" how to deal with terrorism while maintaining democracy.

The former head of the UK's joint intelligence committee, who is now the national security adviser to Conservative leader David Cameron, said Britain could learn from Israel on how to handle terrorist threats and said she believed co-operation between the two countries to be close.

"I cannot say for sure as I'm not in government, but I understand Israel and Britain do co-operate and that that goes well."

Baroness Neville-Jones made the comments on her return from a visit to the country, organised by the Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI).

She said: "Any society that is facing a terrorist threat must learn how to have resilience and endurance and how to cope with the threats while maintaining their liberty. Israel has managed to do this but I am concerned about Britain and that things could go too far in terms of cutting freedoms."

She said she opposed the government's proposals in the Counter-Terrorism Bill to extend the amount of time that terror suspects can be held without trial from 28 days to 42 days.

"It does not necessarily follow that by cutting a society's freedoms, you will get more security. I believe Israel has shown the world this, by hanging on to its principles of freedom and democracy while facing terrorism."

While in Israel, Baroness Neville-Jones watched British troops being trained by an Israeli company in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (military unpiloted aircrafts).

In Herzlia, she addressed the International Institute of Counter-Terrorism's annual conference, and declared that Israelis had demonstrated "a remarkable and principled courage" in the face of terrorist threats.

"There is much that we can learn from Israel's experience," she added.

Baroness Neville-Jones also warned that "extremist organisations" such as Hizbollah and Hizb-ut-Tahrir should be banned.

On September 29, she will address the CFI lunch at the Conservative party conference in Birmingham.

This week James Arbuthnot MP, chairman of the House of Commons Defence Committee, who is chairman of CFI, was also in Israel, while the Shadow Children, Schools and Families Minister, Michael Gove, will make his first visit to the country with CFI after Succot.

Calls for inquiry into East Lancashire terror swoop

CALLS have been made for an inquiry into the M65 terror swoop claiming it has damaged the relationship between police and Muslims.

All of the nine people arrested following the raid on the Gaza aid convoy have now been released without charge.

Police said they had to ‘robustly investigate’ any information passed to them.

But Salim Mulla, vice chair of the Lancashire Council of Mosques, said it could years for bridges to be rebuilt between the county's police force and members of the Muslim community.

He also demanded an internal police inquiry into why the force targeted the occupants of the three vehicles laden with children's toys and medicine bound for Gaza.

The nine men were arrested near junction one of the M65 at Bamber Bridge as headed off to London on February 13.

Six of those arrested, including five prominent figures of Blackburn's Muslim community, were initially released without charge.

The remaining three were released on Thursday following a six-day investigation that included searches at houses in Rectory Road, Gordon Street, Clive Street and Robinson Street in Burnley.

Coun Mulla said: "I was absolutely delighted that these men were all released.

"However, the damage it has done to community relationships between police and local Muslims has set us back not months, but years.

"Not only that but it has been a massive waste of money and resources.

"Police have been chasing a wild goose and I would like to see a full inquiry into why this line of action was taken."

Respect MP George Galloway, currently in Morocco leading the overall 110-vehicle British aid convoy, has also slammed the action.

Mr Galloway said: "I am writing to the Chief Constable of Lancashire to demand an explanation.

"I will also be writing to the Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, to demand action against those who seem to have abused their power and authority as a police officers to produce this really damaging outcome.

UPDATE: Three released without charge

Thursday 19th February 2009

Three men arrested on the M65 under the Terrorism Act have been released without charge.

The men, who are all from the Burnley area, were stopped on the motorway on Friday February 13 as they made their way to London in an aid convoy bound for Gaza.

Lancashire police said that the men, aged 36, 29 and 26, were released earlier today.

Assistant Chief Constable Andy Cooke, Lancashire Constabulary's lead for Counter Terrorism, said: "Lancashire Constabulary, with the support of the North West Counter Terrorism Branch, will robustly investigate any information that is passed to us about possible terrorist activity and if necessary take action.

"Terrorism affects us all and protecting the safety of the public is of paramount importance. Security for our communities is our highest priority and sometimes we have to make arrests."

Two properties in Rectory Road and homes in Clive Street, Gordon Street and Robinson Street, all in the Daneshouse and Stoneyholme areas of Burnley were all searched as part of the inquiry.

ACC Cooke added: "I would also like to thank local residents who have been affected by this operation for their support and patience during what has been an understandably difficult time."

Six other men arrested as part of the operation were also released without charge.

Yvonne Ridley reports: Another good news story

As a journalist I love being first with the news so when I was handed a red hot exclusive story a few hours ago I could barely contain myself.

I already had a captive audience having just finished a live broadcast for Press TV in front of scores of members of the Viva Palestina convoy which is currently making its way through Morocco.

"Listen up everyone," I shouted as they walked towards their hotel from the car park where Press TV's outside broadcast vehicle was parked.

They turned and gathered around and then the words came tumbling out: "Ten minutes ago police released the Burnley Three without charge and they are heading our way to hook up with the convoy."

Most times I never get to see peoples' reactions to my exclusive news breaks, but this time I did and the "wow" factor was amazing.

Viva Palestina convoy members jumped up and down for joy and shouted "Allahu Akbar".

I was referring to the three men who had been arrested as part of an anti-terrorist operation which just happened to be performed on the eve of departure for the history-making convoy led by George Galloway.

Of course the so-called anti terror raid made huge headlines in the British media which had, until that moment, shown little or no interest in Viva Palestina.

I wonder if the convoy gets the same amount of newsprint and airtime devoted to this good news story to redress the balance. I doubt it.

I didn't get a chance to see George Galloway's reaction, but as the leader of the 110 vehicle British aid convoy bound for Gaza, he has now spoken of his anger at the high profile Lancashire Constabulary police action which led to the arrest of nine innocent men who set off to join the Viva Palestina convoy last Friday.

Six of the nine were released without charge some days ago and are now heading for Tunisia in three vehicles laden with humanitarian supplies for the people of Gaza.

But three more were detained in custody for almost a week before being released without charge this afternoon.

The negative publicity which the arrests attracted had a knock on effect and Viva Palestina organisers said that there was a drop of 80% in donations.

Sadly the media continues to give Viva Palestina a wide berth, with a few notable exceptions including Press TV.

This is a real shame because they've really missed out on some excellent stories including:

*Heroic convoy members saving the lives of20 Moroccan policemen after a near-fatal road crash near Fes.

*Heroic London mother-of-six battling cancer continues her mercy mission for the sake of the children of Gaza.

*History in the making as Morocco and Algeria open their land borders for the first time in nearly two decades to let the mercy convoy pass.

Of course most of those making the headlines are Muslims and as we know, the Islamophobic media in Britain prefers to write about Muslims in a negative way.

But this flawed news judgment reflects badly on them and not the Viva Palestina crew who come from all parts of Britain - they might not have been born in the UK but they are doing their adopted country proud.

As it is, if he did change his name from Jacobson, he was obviously changing it back to his original name as his father was Isaac Jerome.
The interesting aspect to this assertion is it ignores the if-your-mum's-Jewish-you-are-100%-because that's-what-teh-jooos-say-so-there notion so beloved of joooo theorists because it assumes Jenny Jerome was automatically Jewish because her dad supposedly was.

No column in The Independent again this morning, as they weren't overly keen on the issue I was writing about, which is connected to the Viva Palestina convoy of trucks, that left London on February 14th to deliver food and medicine to Gaza.

The convoy was financed by collections throughout the country, which were enough to fund 110 vehicles on a journey to across the channel, through France, Spain, across North Africa and hopefully through Egypt into Gaza. This, you might imagine, is the sort of charitable venture that would be publicised across the media as a chirpy feelgood tale, perhaps involving a regular feature on Blue Peter and at some point resulting in Cat Deeley squealing 'The response has been AMAZING, you've been ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC'.

But in the tradition that anyone's permitted to carry out crazy wacky acts as long as it involves charity, the police decided to contribute to the event with a spectacular lark. Early in the morning, on the day the convoy left, they arrested nine people on the M65 under the Terrorism Act, who were on their way to Hyde Park, where the journey was due to begin. They blocked off an entire section of motorway, and grabbed their suspects with what was described in the local newspaper as "Dozens of police cars, vans, 4x4 vehicles and a helicopter."

The first I knew of this episode was from that afternoon's BBC news, on which it was the main item. Which is as you might expect, with nine suspected terrorists being pounced on by an operation that included a helicopter. To be fair, the BBC journalists didn't have to work too hard to find the story, as the police informed them in advance, and in addition, by a splendid coincidence, a press photographer happened to be on hand to record this successful swoop.

Maybe this is how the police plan to fund themselves from now on. They'll follow the practice of celebrities and stage their events so they can be sold to OK and Hello. Major criminals will find themselves lying on the floor in handcuffs, while a photographer claps his hands and calls out "That's lovely, now can we do the arrest one more time while the Inspector stands just behind kissing his wife, and then have a profile of the murderer's assistant on a sheepskin rug in front of a coal fire."

The news reported that the terrorists were on the way to join the Viva Palestina convoy, which straight away seemed a little peculiar. Why would terrorists be on the way to join such an event? What would they be planning to attack? The convoy of trucks heading for Gaza? And what sort of Jihadist terrorist would say "I know how we'll move around without being noticed - we'll drive down the motorway in three vans with Palestinian flags flapping from the windows and a f**king great 'Viva Palestina' logo painted on the side."

The story was reported in almost every Sunday paper, with headlines such as “Galloway’s Aid Convoy linked to three terror suspects”, in the Mail on Sunday. And they had the effect of reducing contributions to the charity by eighty per cent, as the astute might have been able to predict. But the nine men, six from Blackburn and three from Burnley, were questioned, and the lorries, which were full of children's toys, were searched. And presumably the head of the anti-terrorist squad stood there throughout saying "Check that Bratz for semtex." By the next morning six were released without any charges, and a few days later the other three were released as well, the police appearing to be duly embarrassed to the extent they've paid the fares so the wrongly arrested men could catch up with the convoy, which by now was moving into Algeria.

The local councillor for the arrested men in Burnley is Wajid Khan, described how they were “Well respected men in the community, seen in a positive light.”

Presumably then, all the broadcasters and newspapers who considered it a major story that the police had successfully pulled off this anti-terrorist operation will now make it an equally prominent story that the arrests had no validity whatsoever. Apart from anything else there must be many people who saw that story, and are wondering why they've heard nothing about it since, assuming a bunch of terrorists have escaped and are running round on the loose. They may even indulge in some investigative work, which will show that three of the arrested men are defence witnesses in a separate trial, which may, or may not be a coincidence.

So you can't help be suspicious that the arrest of people volunteering for charity may be connected to them being Muslims, and being associated with Palestine. If not it's going to mean Comic Relief this year will be chaos, with Richard Hammond and Lenny Henry spending the whole evening making announcements such as "Now we're going to meet the wonderful children of St. Josephs junior school in Kidderminster, who've raised two hundred and sixty-four pounds with a sponsored cartwheel race. So here's Alan Titchmarsh to speak to them from their high security cell in Belmarsh."
