Car Surveillance

Post by kinjack »

Just had this email sent to me by a colleague.

"I don’t know if any of you have read about the new plans for scraping road tax & fuel tax.

The government plan to replace it all with a much more expensive in car tracking scheme, you pay by the amount of miles you drive.

There is an online petition that you can sign if you like to voice your objection to the scheme. The petition closes on Feb 20th.

I bet this will be massive as people can see the impact on their travelling costs and taxes etc.... What about the civil liberties? Every vehicle register and 24/7 tracking due to the different prices on different roads at different times. If only we could turn 911 into a tax issue (i know it does impact us as tax payers) for everyday people to see and believe?

Am I jumping the gun a bit here?

Seems like a wonderful way to avoid taxes = how long will it be until there is counter-technology, something that simply makes your car invisible to tracking?

Also, the administration of such a scheme would be enormous, how would the money be collected, different drivers arguing over who was driving on any given day? It also appears to very much favour the rich, no additional penalties for large 4x4's, just mileage, bizarre.
I completely challenge the official version of events - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC -I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC - I AM NOT A 9/11 TRUTH CRITIC
