Leeds Truthfest

Ian Crane's was a tour de force, with an energy out there like the likes of Icke.
Any possibility of a full report? Anything new?

I did see Ian Crane speak in Manchester a few weeks ago (see report: http://www.nineeleven.co.uk/board/viewt ... ght=#62673 ) but couldn't make it to Leeds.

I would like to have seen Tony Gosling's talk on the Bildeburgers (Report anyone?). I just discovered that both Ian Crane & Tony Gosling are on the line-up at the Probe Conference in Blackpool later this year (see link below).

I might also take in the illuminations!

Anyone can watch a copy of Ian's The Hidden Agenda
Well it was on much the same theme with much updating and more information, no singing and delivered with considerable panache, humour and towards the end, dare I say it, rabble-rousing uplifting energy. Declared by one or two who'd been present at both, much better than his Manchester presentation just a few weeks ago. He's taking the risks regarding his statements for example regarding Harry and Iraq. A great asset to the movement if no longer to the Campaign as such.
I'd say the next Probe conference should be well worth a visit for Ian and Tony's stuff alone
Good to see Ants has posted Andrew's and Joseph's excellent presentational material here
Thanks especially to Andrew for pushing me back into orgone activist mode. It's about or beyond time the two fields mingled

Much like adding salvia leaf to your pipe whilst listening to Bill Laswell or Adrian Sherwood.

I hear you raving about Ian Crane. Are you just taking what he says as fact?
Are you not aware that Zacharia Sitchin's theories have been shown to be false?

If you then say something like 'well Ian's such a fun guy', well why do you think spinning false myths is good. Not that he may be willingly doing so, maybe he is uniformed I don't know.

Would you want people spinning false myths about 9/11?

I am not in attacking mode, I am just trying to dig where you are coming from
keep asking questions!

Sitichin's theories are False!

Zoomer blasted:

Although I didn't make it to Leeds, if past experience is anything to go by, I would bet a full set of The Earth Chronicles that Ian Crane opened his talk by stating he did not expect anyone to accept anything he says at face value. On each occasion that I have heard him speak, he has always encouraged everyone present to go away, do their own research and to make up their own minds.

You can't really say much fairer that that, can you?

Zoomer asks:
Are you not aware that Zacharia Sitchin's theories have been shown to be false?
By whom? Michael Heiser? Well, taking a leaf out of Ian Crane's book, I'd encourage everyone to read Sitchin, Heisner and anyone else they think appropriate and/or relevant to the debate and make up their own minds. If there is anything that should ignite the curiosity of a genuine Truthseeker, it's broad brush statements such as, "... Stichin's theories have been proven to be false."

Zoomer, thanks for declaring your Truthseeker credentials.

Well that's a direct insult to my intelligence, which I've been on forums enough years to ignore.
I was referring to the power of both delivery and content, the latter not entirely dependent on Sitchin (I'm aware who paid his bills), though the sumerian scenario provided the initial framework.
Suggest you try and attand one of Ian's gigs then you can debate it out with the man himself.

I have to agree that Ian C always presents his information as his view and encourages the audience to do their own research

The answer is of course no, but we only have to look at the current heated debate about TV fakery to see one person's myth can be another person's truth. I think it is healthy to see this ranges of views within a movement. We don't need to agree about everything, indeed it would be unnerving if we did. Ultimately we all have a responsibility to check out the evidence and information (that interests us) for ourselves.
