A report reveals that French President Nicolas Sarkozy worked for Israeli intelligence for a long time before he was elected president.

French daily Le Figaro has revealed the French leader once worked for the Zionist regime as a sayan, Hebrew for 'collaborator'.



Ex-Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky says sayans, who perform many roles, are Jewish citizens of other nationalities assisting Mossad.

Le Figaro claimed that French police officials managed to keep secret a letter, which exposed Sarkozy's past participation in espionage activities for Mossad.

The letter fixed Sarkozy's alleged spying activities as far back as 1983.

In the immediate aftermath of Le Figaro's exposé, the Zionist regime's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was on a state visit to France to discuss Iran's nuclear program, which raised more questions about the report.

Analysts believe since Sarkozy took office in May, he has taken every opportunity to pledge his allegiance to the United States and the Zionist regime.

"Sarko the Sayan" has also followed in the footsteps of the White House by choosing a hostile approach toward Iran and its peaceful nuclear activities.

Police investigators identified four men whom they alleged had in fact been suicide bombers. This would make the 7 July incident the first suicide bombings in Western Europe.

French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy caused consternation at the British Home Office when he briefed the press that one of the names had been described the previous year at an Anglo-French security meeting as an asset of British Intelligence.

This was denied by then Home Secretary Charles Clarke, or at any rate he described this as "not his recollection, to say the least".

Kouchner says Israel is expected to attack Iran.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner says Israel would strike Iran, under the pretext that the country is seeking nuclear bombs.

Israel has long alleged that a nuclear Iran would pose an existential 'threat' to Tel Aviv, accusing Tehran, a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), of seeking weapons of mass destruction.

The UN nuclear watchdog said in its latest report on Iran that it could not find any 'components of a nuclear weapon' or 'related nuclear physics studies' in the country.

In a Haaretz interview published on Sunday, Kouchner said a nuclear weapon would not 'give any immunity to Iran'.

"Israel has always said it will not wait for the bomb to be ready," he added.

The outspoken French minister, who is on a two-day visit to the Middle East, said Tel Aviv would 'eat' Iran before the 'bomb' is ready........
