Thu19Jun - TALKSPORT - Collins takes on Alex Jones

Post by SHERITON HOTEL »

...according to a trail I heard this morning on the John Gaunty Gaunt show "I love listening to these nutcases" said the boozy Sun Hack JG(who wouldn't like HIS daughter to get them out on page 3, respect!), does Collins know what he's doing? a bit of a mismatch me thinks![/i]

("taksport"?... right first time?)

On from 10pm I imagine - since Collins is not on today's Talksport schedlue and today mysteriously ends at 10pm tonight.

Sounds like it'll be good! There's a lot of criticism of Alex Jones for being extreme but I see him as an outspoken modern day version of Bill Hicks.

Outrageous can be good.

Bill Hicks will be rolling in his grave after that comment. Jonesey's okay but he can be a bit gung ho at times, isn't 100% on his facts all the time, but you can't knock him too much for that. At least he gets of his arse and works hard

More importantly, he 'gets to the parts other (campaigners) can't reach' (Right-wingers);
and he's in people's faces, and he gets our message out LOUD: 'Nine eleven was an Inside Job!'; and he gets out the precedents (though as you say, slips up a trifle on some details) like Pearl, Gulf of Tonkin, USS Liberty, Hitler, Northwoods etc.; and also Bilderberg & Bohemian Grove, Trilateral Commission etc. Wish there were more like him!!
'And he (the devil) said to him: To thee will I give all this power, and the glory of them; for to me they are delivered, and to whom I will, I give them'. Luke IV 5-7.

Alex Jones, Bill Hicks. Both Austin, both thankfully outspoken. Bill's old Austin school mate and buddy from his comedy days Kevin Booth helps promote Alex. And was involved in this film.

Jones doesn't make me laugh as often as Hicks does though, there is a certain similarity - both outspoken Texan 'conspiracy theorists' probably.
