I've just been told by someone driving along the A14 from Huntingdon to Cambrige that there are CCTV cameras at head height on the verge and in the central reservation and on slip roads pointed at the drivers rather than at number plates.
We couldn't figure out why, though we could think of possible ways in which the information could be used.
Is anyone else aware of such a things?

When you say 'the information', what info do you mean exactly?
