The comment sections of young turks are talking about cognitive dissonance... anyone want to put some coherence in there?

Yeah, we saw those videos etc. about 2 years ago. They are definitely circulating here in the US and they even have get-togethers and conventions and stuff. It's pretty convincing, but then again, I watched a special about the US never landing on the moon (as a conspiracy theory) and it was totally convincing as well. I guess I have that cognitive dissonance thing going on.

So you believe the US never landed on the moon then? Or, although you say the special was "totally" convincing, it didn't convince you?

I didn't say any of the things within the quote. I was quoting what was on another site.
