US officials have admitted they cleared a path for alleged Christmas bomber. Is this what happened in 9/11?

Good news for UK Human Rights, Peace Movement, Greens and 9/11 Activists. Cynthia McKinney, for many years a Congressional Representative from Atlanta Georgia, and most recently US Green Party candidate for President, will be addressing a Parliamentary meeting and later a public meeting on March 8 (International women's day) in a Central London venue to be announced.

The meetings have been organised by Reinvestigate 911 but Cynthia will be heard by people active in many campaigns. For many years Cynthia used her seat in Congress to give a platform to many disadvantaged groups, but in the end the Washington oligarchy was able to remove her. A vicious media campaign, lack of support from the Democratic leadership, massive funding of her local opponents and a well organised Republican crossover vote saw her removed in a primary in her Georgia constituency.

As well as supporting the rights of women, native Americans and others at home, Cynthia is a supporter of the Palestinian cause and risked her life on a boat that tried to lift the blockade of Gaza last year. She was arrested and held incommunicado in Israel for nearly a week.

Like the US Green Party, the UK Green Party, Reinvestigate 911 and most sensible 9/11 sceptics, Cynthia does not claim to know exactly how the 9/11 attacks really happened or who was behind them - just that the event has gravely suspicious features, fitted in perfectly with the pre-existing neocon plans to seize Iraq, and a real investigation has never been mounted. Cynthia was the only Congress person to ask public questions about the Pentagon's "anti-hijack exercise" that was running at the time the 9/11 attacks took place.

Other speakers include Nafeez Ahmed a terrorism expert who has investigated the links between the CIA and "Al Qaeda". The eminent Italian journalist Giulietto Chiesa who with Diario Fo made the film Zero is also hoping to be present. Zero highlights the failure of US authorities to present the evidence needed to support the official 9/11 theory.

In addition organisers are planning to offer live music and there will be videos including leading French humorist Jean-Marie Bigard making fun of the official 9/11 story. There will also be a surprise speech by The Queen. (It's on a rather fuzzy video but it's authenticated by the CIA and their friends over at the BBC Conspiracy Files) .

News: US Official says Intel Agencies asked to let Xmas bomber through.

The left wing website wsws.org has picked up what appears to be a devastating admission from State Department Under-Secretary for Management Patrick Kennedy: the Christmas bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was allowed into the US on the express wishes US Intelligence. Explaining why the terrorist suspect was allowed on the plane, Kennedy told a congressional committee: "And one of the members [of the intelligence community] ... said, 'Please, do not revoke this visa. We have eyes on this person. We are following this person who has the visa for the purpose of trying to roll up an entire network, not just stop one person.'"

This flatly contradicts the comments by officials and media speculation about "failing to join the dots" etc and underlines the reports from witnesses of a mysterious well dressed man with a US accent expediting the bomber through formalities at Schipol airport onto the plane without showing a passport.

To many 9/11 sceptics this looks like a rerun of 9/11 when evidence from FBI field officers and subsequent official investigations indicates the CIA cleared a path for the presumed hijackers. In the case of 9/11, officials and the corporate media have angrily denied any sort of collusion between US intelligence and "Al Qaeda", describing the possibility as a conspiracy theory. Apart from an article in the Detroit News "Terror Suspect Kept Visa to Avoid Tipping Off Larger Investigation" the media appear to have ignored the revelations.

Now is Lecture room V211 SOAS Vernon Square Campus, WC1X 9EW.
This is horribly confusing since the previous venue is still up on several key websites and has already been circulated far and wide on many email lists.
Dire decision IMO, almost like a deliberate disruption.

It was certainly not deliberate disruption. We had for some time been asking for a larger room at SOAS than the one we had had last time which could not contain all the people who came to that meeting. We were expecting a larger audience at this month's meeting because of the wide appeal of Cynthia McKinney and because we knew this meeting had been widely advertised. When SOAS eventually came up with an offer of a larger room, but with a deadline at the end of that day to accept or reject the offer, we had a difficult decision to make and it was not possible to contact some of the organisers before the deadline. Once we had taken that decision it would have created even more confusion if we had later reversed it and gone back to the smaller room. Only after the decision had been taken did we hear from one of the organisers that she had severe doubts about the larger room because of its distance from the Russel Square campus.

Will one of the organisers please clarify this new info. is correct?

Yes that is correct

Who will be assigned to the old venue to re-direct people to the new venue? And how far away is it?

Yes I shall take responsibility for ensuring there is someone at the Russell Square campus with notices to redirect people to the Vernon Square campus. Vernon Square is about 20 minutes walk from Russell Square and 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station.

If we find the Vernon Square room gets only half full we shall know we took the wrong decision. If it fills up we shall conclude we took the right decision. Either way the meeting will go ahead at Vernon Square, insh'Allah.

The decision to move the venue was taken in the strangest way
Ian Henshall sent out an email in the morning giving a deadline of 3pm for people to reply if they objected.
This is not a fair way to make such a decision, particilarly as many people only check their emails in the evening and some don't for several days on end.
It did not in fact include the varous stakeholders, ie people who have put time and effort into the event in the decision.

This lack of democracy, information sharing and accountability has to be addressed.

The Cynthia Mckinney event in London was great. I really enjoyed it and many thanks to the people who organised it.
The talk by Ian Henshall was very effective and gave a sense of focus and purpose about what the campaign is doing.
The Q&A at the end descended into a bit of a rant and therapy session?
... however the problem still remains .... how do we mobilise the hundreds and thousands of people in the UK who question the
official narrative of 9/11 ........ perhaps We Are Change can be the vehicle? I understand why "Re-investigate 9/11" is 'stand alone'.

Hello friends, associates and supporters. Hello, as well, to those who are new to the case of Splitting The Sky versus George W. Bush.

I have no hesitation in asserting that the brilliant content of these videos will be transformative for multitudes of global viewers. These videos contain poetry in You Tube. They offer sophisticated political analysis of the kind that should strike fear in the heart of the criminal class who are currently running the global apparatus of so-called national security. These presentations are studies of effective communication. They embody joy, love and skilled articulation combining classical motifs of ballet-like performance with the free form creativity of hip hop. They highlight two individuals at the top of their form who are leading an accelerating global revolt against the lawless war machine's broadening onslaught. More than any other force, the organized crime of the war machine threatens all humanity-- indeed, all life forms-- with imminent oblivion. Please take the time to study this set of amazing videos and disseminate them far and wide.

The event took place on March 9 only hours after the premature termination of Splitting The Sky's Calgary trial. As the trial was being hurriedly shut down by the state, the legendary Cynthia McKinney arrived in Calgary from London to show solidarity with the veteran Mohawk activist. In an event hosted by my own academic unit, Globalization Studies, and by the University of Calgary's Peace Consortium, STS and Ms. McKinney met for the first time. As they shared stories and joined forces, they came to personify the best spirit of defiance rooted in many generations of resistance towards the forces of colonization, enslavement and resource theft. Together STS and the martyred but still-strong former US Congresswoman, Cynthia McKinney, reflect on what humanity must do now that the heritages of slavery in America and the militarized dispossession of Indigenous peoples have been globalized in the name of the fraudulent Global War on Terror.

As I see it, the case of Splitting The Sky versus George W. Bush will become in the future, even more than it has been in the past, a test case to prove the utter bankruptcy of the censoring mainstream media. This professional malfeasance in the CIA-infested mainstream media stands in contrast with the propensity of activist researchers, publishers, journalists, academics, broadcasters and media artists to use the Internet as a vehicle to advance the revolution that we do intend to televise on You Tube.

Of course, the STS story highlights the media cover up of the lies and crimes of 9/11. But that is only the beginning. STS's story starts with the big cover up of the reality that the New World Order of America began in 1492 with a massive genocide that continues to this day. Add to this monumental cover up the continuing obfuscation of the underlying dynamics that compelled the Attica prisoners, including STS, to revolt against their jailers in 1971.

Similarly, the interests of power have good reason to want to suppress understanding of STS's central role in the Gustafsen Lake Indian War in British Columbia in 1995. There, the Canadian Armed Forces, including Joint Task Force Two (which is centrally involved in special operations in Afghanistan) played a major role in the conflict. The accompanying state-sponsored disinformation and smear campaign was brought to light in a court ruling on an extradition proceeding in Portland Oregon in 2000 entitled USA versus Pitawanakwat. The Canadian and B.C. governments' systematic campaign of media disinformation on the Battle of Gustafsen Lake offers a revealing prelude shedding light on the Cheney-Bush regime's strategy of psychological warfare employed to give a false-impresion of legitimacy to the lawless resource grab advanced in the name of Global War on Terror.

The ongoing genocide that began in 1492 continues to advance the theft of natural resources from Indigenous peoples around the world. The founding of America on this primal original crime extends these days to the creation of new forms of appropriation, domination, murder and enslavement. It finds expression in the sweat shops, forced labour camps, torture chambers and assassination squads of the privatized terror economy. The Big Obama Psy Op is elevating and expanding the 9/11 wars of terror that the new president took over from the Cheney-Bush cabal of war profiteers. Please do yourself a favour and explore these videos while making sure that others are given the same opportunity.

I wanted to give Cynthia McKinney a present from all of us because she stands up to men such as Donald Rumsfeld with such beautiful clarity and tenacity.

I took the little figure of the woman made of cloth
who had been to that 911 meeting where the publisher recounted old tales of complicity and strategic deceit dating back centuries
and rifts became chasms between sighs somewhere I missed.

I passed her to my left and she went around the table.
Sometimes a smile.

I thought she would do, sewn thinking of Shaden Abu Hijleh, a Nablus needlewoman and peace activist, shot dead by an Israeli soldier as she sat embroidering in her porch one evening;
her needle and thread silenced.

I would encase this token in lace for Cynthia.






But it wasn't done after three days sewing between dreams and dares
And there I was standing with the fabric in my hands,
"I've been making this for you, but it isn't quite finished."



"Who says it has to be finished?" said she accepting it with such alacrity
that I didn't doubt her pleasure while I told her it was a gift on behalf of us all, 
the British Truth movement, although some say we don't exist -
