What a major c***-up! (Presumably it isn't old green-screen footage behind her?)

I hope the poster on Google has got copies of this footage scattered around. Seems a prime candidate for Google culling it.

This news footage is a major piece of evidence. I cannot believe what I have just seen.

This is incredibly significant!

Has this footage been shown before because this is the first time I've watched it?

The video reinforces the point that it was known in advance that Building 7 was going to collapse – and it will help shift the focus onto Building 7. But it doesn’t say anything that wasn’t already known. The area around Building 7 was cleared before it collapsed and a lot of people had been told before the collapse actually happened. How they knew it was about to collapse is one of the big unanswered questions.

The way the BBC will weasel out of this is by saying that they heard the reports regarding clearing the area around Building 7 and misinterpreted these reports by believing the building had actually collapsed.

It’s still a great piece of footage though.

If you want to hear people weaseling their way out of this one post it in Critic's Corner - I am sure they will show their usual inventiveness. They doubtless have a dozen explanations.

1 It was a recording of earlier events that she was standing in front of.

2 It was the twin sister building of WTC7 (which was removed later that
year due to being damaged.)

3 This video is a mock up made by Bin Laden to discredit the OCT.

4 It was superimposed by the BBC to show where the WTC7 had been
standing (to help the viewers who were not familiar with New York city.)

5 When he said "it had fallen" he meant "something" had fallen - not the
building itself.

6 It wasn't WTC7 he said had collapsed but some light poles nearby.

7 That's what you get for giving the job to a girlie!! She was told to report
it was in danger of collapsing!! Silly girl - durrrr.

8 It never happened.

9 The French did it because they are jealous of the BBC.

10 Some Arabs with box-cutters forced Broadcasting house to put this
out with obvious errors to disgrace them.

11 WTC7 isn't there!!! You are all seeing things!!! Take off your tin-foil
hats and maybe you will see WTC7 has collapsed.

I will leave the twelfth to any fertile imagination who cares to contribute.

Hi people - Newbie here. Had to comment on this - what a great find!! What a MAD vid. The BBC cant say they didnt mean collapse - the reporters said it several times, though it wont stop them making up some sh*tty excuse. I'm gonna send them an email and see what they say.
By the way, how come this has only come out now?

Obviously what happened was a press release(?) went round saying it had collapsed and the poor brit reporter, not knowing which building it actually was, ran with the story? I can't think of another plausible explanation.

where did the bbc get their info?

was it a news item with a release time that was either put out early by mistake or by someone trying to get the truth out?

as there's no clock on the footage, how can we prove what time this aired?

was there a wtc 7 twin sister removed later that year?

I do believe that the bottom of the screen in purple has the report that salomon building has collapsed. I think salomon is wtc7. This report was live at the time.

the link to this story on 911 blogger now says 'accsess denied' whoever 911 veritas is they are the person who worked this out. they got it from the internet archive thing. It does seem too wierd is it possible someone set this up? clever editing etc? wierd..

It is announced early in the vid, but you can skip to 15mins, where they go to there correspondent in NY, and it's still standing!

Also a ticker runs across the bottom at 21mins, and it's still there in the background.

That is WTC7 right?

i have sent this to the "have your say" section of the bbc website... just with my name and a link to the video with a general question asking them to respond.

it gave me a caveat after it submitted saying due to the high volume of emails we cannot guarantee blah blah blah, can i urge as many people as possible to also ask via this website? the more the merrier etc...

i know it doesnt give a time stamp on the feed, which is disappointing, but id like a bbc explanation

the first thread that the person who found this out put it on 9/11 blogger. But i had first seen it here. The topic it was in this morning has now gone, that was the one in the 'news' room. 911veritas bloke had a link explaing how he had worked out what time it was at. he said he had gotten the footage from internet archive thingy? there not being a clock immediatel;y rose my suspisions though before i read this. He said he had the tape which did everything in a chronological way and by seeing earlier in the taped the supposed time he worked out ir must have been before.

someone pointed out it cany be blue screen because of the sun on the womans hand and on her face.???

who knows another bloomin question.

The newscaster in the BBC studio says -

"It is now some what 8 hours since the attacks ..."

This would, if accurate, put the interview pre WTC 7 collapse time.

It comes 17:30 into broadcast.

i think it's a reflection in an open window?

Might be useful to have a still available;

However if it genuinely is the 'still standing WTC7' (which it looks like), when it did collapse, can we honestly say that no-one outside the loop in the BBC did not flag this up as being a huge anomaly which would have filtered out by now?

I am more convinced that this has a simple explanation.
